REASON FOR BEING

 Cuba faces a multiple and profound systemic crisis that negatively impacts the lives of its citizens in all aspects and hinders the satisfaction of their most basic needs. This crisis has:

​​

  • Degraded the national economy: The economy has become dependent and precarious, dragged down by a spiral of financial problems, debts, and defaults, which lead to discredit and distrust both nationally and internationally.

  • Corrupted institutions: Public institutions have been reduced to mere corrupt instruments destined to keep the dominant political caste in power, moving away from their true purpose of serving the people.

  • Disintegrated civic and moral values: The crisis has caused the dissolution of the civic and moral values of Cuban society, unleashing a wave of violence and insecurity, and creating an absolute lack of guarantees for life, liberty, and property.

 This crisis is the deepest and most devastating that our people have faced, and its origins and causes lie in the failed and incoherent policy that the Cuban Communist Government has imposed on our country for more than six decades. Cuban government policy has been characterized by constant blunders and experiments of all kinds that have never aimed to achieve prosperity for our people, nor even to provide a path to achieve a dignified life, violating all types of civil and constitutional rights.

 Our movement has set out to give our people a light at the end of the tunnel, proving to them that freedom can be achieved through political activism that leads to the overthrow of the Cuban Communist Regime and its oppressive yoke. The struggle for the freedom of our people is our guiding lighthouse, and toward it, we concentrate our efforts and most pure ideas of freedom.

OBJECTIVES:

 We call upon all Cubans, both inside and outside the national territory, who yearn for a free, democratic, prosperous, and sovereign Cuba, to join this project based on firmness and conviction. Our goal is to consolidate a strong and united movement that works tirelessly for the freedom and fundamental rights of the Cuban people. We commit to:

​

  1. Promote unity and solidarity among all Cubans committed to the cause of freedom.

  2. Defend and advocate for human rights and fundamental freedoms in Cuba.

  3. Defend the civic and political participation of Cubans both inside and outside the island.

  4. Educate and raise awareness about the dangers of communism and the importance of democratic values.

  5. Establish international alliances to strengthen our struggle and obtain global support.

ACTION PLAN:

 To fulfill our objectives and mission, we will follow a roadmap that includes the following actions:

​

  1. Awareness campaigns: Conduct educational and awareness campaigns regarding the situation in Cuba and the dangers of communism.

  2. Forums and conferences: Organize forums and conferences with experts and opinion leaders to discuss and plan strategic actions.

  3. Support for exiles: Provide support and guidance to Cuban exiles seeking to regularize their immigration status and settle into new communities.

  4. Mobilization and protest: Coordinate peaceful mobilizations and protests to raise visibility for the Cuban cause and exert pressure on international organizations.

  5. Research and documentation: Document human rights violations and situations of injustice in Cuba to inform and raise awareness within the international community.

  6. Strategic alliances: Establish and strengthen alliances with international organizations, governments, and entities that share our values and objectives.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

 The Anti-Communist Movement and Freedom Defenders has a board of directors responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the movement. This board is composed of dedicated members who handle various essential tasks, such as:

  • ​Document administration: Managing all documents and paperwork necessary for the legal and operational functioning of the movement.

  • Coordination of meetings: Organizing and facilitating strategic and operational meetings to align and direct the movement's actions.

  • Treasury management: Overseeing and managing the movement's funds, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the use of resources.

  • Communication and messaging: Maintaining effective internal and external communication, ensuring that the movement's message clearly reaches all stakeholders.

MISSION:

 Our mission is to actively fight against all forms of communism, dictatorship, and oppression, promoting freedom, justice, and respect for human rights. We raise our voices for those who have been silenced, for political prisoners, for exiles, and for every citizen suffering under totalitarian regimes. We work from exile, from conscience, and from the heart, to build a future where dignity and freedom prevail over fear and repression.​

VISION:

 We dream of a free, just, and democratic Cuba, where human rights are sacred and the people have the power to decide their destiny without fear or censorship. We envision a world where no totalitarian regime has a place, and where the unity of peoples is stronger than oppression. Our commitment is permanent: we will remain standing, resisting, defending, and demanding full and true freedom for all subjected peoples.

 We invite all Cubans committed to the cause of freedom to join us in this crucial struggle for the future of Cuba. Together, we can build a free, democratic, prosperous, and sovereign Cuba.
